lived near Blacksville, Monongahela Co, VA moved to Rocky
    Run, Wetzel Co, VA, 18 sons, 3 daughters; Birth location
    from war papers. Was then Philadelphia Co., PA. Married by
    Rev John Corbly.

    given and compiled from different sources.

James married Margaret Moore, daughter of John Moore Dr and
    Hannah Armstrong, on 10 Nov 1794 in Greene Twp, Washington
    Co., PA. Margaret was born 1778 in , , VA. She died Jul 1865
    in , Wetzel Co., VA.

Epitaph on Margaret's grave was (on a sandstone slab which
    has deteriorated) Some Mothers have Children, Sme Mothers
    have none, This Mother had 21.
