Eloise Unice McDaniel Wilt, 76, of Newburg, died Friday, Dec. 31, 1999, at her home. She was born March 1, 1923, in Newburg, daughter of the late Nathan Henry and Clarice Joann Loughrie McDaniel. She was a homemaker, loving mother and grandmother, and attended Newburg United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Woodrow Wilt, whom she married June 3, 1946; a son and spouse, Bruce and Rebecca Wilt, of Newburg; three brothers, Adam "Skip" McDaniel, and Nathan Loye McDaniel, both of Newburg, and Fred McDaniel, of Philippi; two sisters, Nancy Elizabeth Minton, and Mary Lou Wolfe, both of Newburg; a grandson, Cody Wayne Wilt, of Newburg; and a sister-in-law, Josephine McDaniel. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Thomas J. McDaniel and Charles G. McDaniel. Friends may call at Taylor Funeral Home, Route 92, Newburg, from 3-9 p.m. Sunday. Graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 3, at Damon Cemetery in Newburg, with the Rev. Jack Riley officiating
