     Ellen Hangan (nee Ryan) was buried at Melbourne General Cemetery on August 3, 1914. She was buried in the same grave as her mother, Honora Ryan, died 30/6/1885, aged 53, and her son William, died 28/2/1887, aged 27. The grave is in the Roman Catholic section T, grave 477 The tombstone has no inscription for Ellen, however cemetery records, and her death certificate confirm that she is indeed buried there. The inscription on the tombstone reads:- "Erected by John In memory of His Beloved Mother HONORAH Relict of the Late Martin Ryan Died June 6, 1885 Aged 53 Also of His Brother WILLIAM RYAN Died February 2, 1887 Aged 27"
