     Obituary

Thomas William Davis, 87, for many years superintendent of the Marion county Home, died Saturday morning in his homeat 646 North 4th Ave., Phoenix, Ariz. He moved to Phoenix in 1945 to be with his son, Harold W. Davis. He was born March 11, 1868 at Flat Run, near Mannington, a son of the late Turner and elvira Davis. He was active in marion county Democratic political circles and a member of Bethesda Baptist Church in Barrackville. His first wife Anna King Davis, died in 1905. His second wife, Lillian Nuzum Davis, survives. Other survivors includ his son, Harold five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Three children Ethel violet, Mildred and Mrs Lena Berry, are deceased. Survices were held yesterday in Phoenix.
