Individual Note: Christopher Doyle was a convict who arrived in Sydney on the "Tyne" January 4, 1819 at the age of 21. He was tried in Dublin in January 1818 and sentenced to 7 years transportation. He subsequently committed a further offence at Windsor and as a result he was sent to Port Macquarie on the "Amity" February 19, 1825. He was described as 5ft 10 inches with florid complection, hazel eyes and light brown hair. When he married Mary Wilson she already had an illegitimate child by another convict,David Morgan who died soon after the child was born
