Robin Elaine Aliotti passed away at home on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 with her husband, Peter, by her side after a heroic battle with cancer. She was born to Donald and Nellie Stiles in Wheeling, West Virginia on April 2, 1958. The family moved to California and resided in Contra Costa County for more than 52 years. Robin attended Antioch High School, earned her AA degree at Los Medanos College (LMC) in Pittsburg. She graduated with a Bachelors degree in Physical Education from UC Davis and completed a Master's degree in Accounting at CSU, East Bay. During her years of study she also acquired her CPA license. Robin was an accountant at Hess Forest Products and then became a business professor at LMC.
Peter and Robin were married for 30 years. They dedicated most of their lives to the happiness of their three beautiful girls. Robin enjoyed spending time in Lake Tahoe with her family and friends, baking apple pies, cream puffs, homemade Pizookies, and travelling to Oregon football bowl games. She shared her girls' tremendous love for athletics and school spirit, hosted many pre-game dinners, and enjoyed being part of the cheering section during games.
Robin is survived by her husband, Peter, their two children Ashley and Sara, father Don Stiles (Debra), in-laws Joe and Gen Aliotti, her sisters Linda Shook (Charles), Dawn Stiles, Lori Palomino (Jay), Jill Dunnam (William), and brother Jeff Stiles. Robin was preceded in death by her mother Nellie May Stiles and daughter Jeanine Nicole Aliotti. She will be missed by her family, friends, and co-workers, but never forgotten.
Dear Pete and Family,
Robin was my niece and I was her uncle. We have lost a family relative and my
grief is expressed in those terms to you. I remember growing up with Robin
when the family visited our home in Wheeling. What a treasure she was to all of us.
With genuine condolences and feelings. Uncle Bob Stiles, Downey, Ca 90242

Peter Anthony Aliotti
( May 28, 1956 - August 28, 2018 )
Surrounded by family, Peter (“Pete”) Anthony Aliotti, 62, returned home to the Heavenly Father on Tuesday, August 28, 2018. Pete was a beloved son to Joe and Gen Aliotti and was revered by his siblings, Nick, Joe, Rosanne, and Rich for his kindness and quick wit. Pete grew up in Pittsburg, CA, where he attended Parkside Elementary, Central Junior High, and Pittsburg High School; graduating in 1974. As a Pirate, he wrestled and played football, basketball, and baseball. As a sports lover, Pete also enjoyed golfing and hunting around the world.
Peter was a loving husband to his late wife, Robin (Stiles) for 32 years and devoted father to three girls. After losing one child, Jeanine, as an infant, Pete and Robin continued to raise their children, Ashley and Sara, with unconditional love and with the values he learned from his tight-knit, Italian family and the Pittsburg community.
Pete had a successful career as a Contra Costa County Firefighter, rising to the rank of Captain before his retirement in 2012. He worked at many stations but mainly in Concord, Pleasant Hill, and Antioch.
Pete’s kind heart, always willing to help attitude, sense of humor, and love of life has endeared him to family, friends, colleagues, and the communities that he has served. He lived well, laughed often, and loved much.
Pete is survived by his second wife, Cori (Stopka), daughters Ashley and Sara Bellafronte (Vincent), mother, siblings, and their significant others, and many nieces and nephews.
