MRS. J. ALBERT BOWMAN OAKLAND - Mrs. Ethel L. Bowman, 73, of Star Route, 2, died yesterday at Garrett County Memorial Hospital. . She was born April 22,1903 in McHenry, a daughter of the late Peter and Lenora K. (Upole) Bowser. She was a member of the Freeport United Brethren Church. She is survived by her husband, J. Albert Bowman; four daughters, Mrs. Daisy D. Stiles, Crellin; Mrs. Betty E. Kitzmiller, Clin- ton: Mrs. Lena L. Glotfelty, Accident; and Mrs. Lydia J. Gebrosky. Severn; five sons, Clinton R. Bowman, Corinth, W.Va.; Allen H. Bowman, Columbia, S:C.; Junior G. Bowman, Crellin; C h a r l e s W . B o w m a n , Gaithersburg; and David A. Bowman, Oakland; a sister, Mrs. Mary Sanders, Terra AHa; a halfsister.. Mrs. Peggy Boris, Farmington, Pa.; five brothers, Dewey Bowser, Terra Alta; Arthur Bowser, Lonaconing", Lloyd Bowser and Donald Bowser, both of Swanton; and Peter Bowser, Somerset; two h a l f b r o t h e r s , B e n j a m i n Bowser and Wayne Bowser, both of Farmington; 42 grandchildren and 31 great- grandchildren. The body is at the Stewart Funeral Home, here, where friends will ,be ' received today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services wjll be con- ducted tomorrow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home by Rev. Charles Teets. Interment will be in Garrett County Memorial Gardens.

Born on Sept.16, 1958, in Meyersdale, Pa., she was a daughter of the late John Donald and Leora Althea (Wilt) Bittinger.
Donna was a clerk in retail.
She is survived by one son, Gary Lynn (and Sandra) Durst, Frostburg; two daughters, Betty Jo Merrill and Kimberly Sue Durst, both of Grantsville; two brothers, Ronald Lee Bittinger, Lawrenceville, Va., and Roger Lynn Bittinger, Accident; and four grandchildren, Lincoln Bradley Durst, Garrett Alan Merrill, Adreanna Dawn Merrill, and Colton Wayne Durst.
Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 179 Miller St., Grantsville, on Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral service will be conducted in the funeral home on Saturday, March 17, at 2 p.m., with Pastor David Price officiating. Cremation will follow the service.
