Obituary Mary Etta Hay
MEYERSDALE, Pa. — Mary Etta Hay, 70, Meyersdale, Pa., died on Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2018, at her residence.
Born on July 26, 1947, in Jennings, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Lula Belle (Hoover) Hay. She was also preceded in death by her longtime companion, Leonard Eichorn.
Mary Etta was a CNA for Laurel Highlands.
She is survived by one daughter, Glenda (and companion, Dale Brocht) Hay, Meyersdale; one step-son, David (and Tammy) Eichorn, N.C.; two brothers, Fay Wilt and Calvin Wilt; and two sisters, Alverta Stanton and Betty Jane Beachy, all of Grantsville; one half-sister, Emmie Costa, Somerset, Pa.; two grandchildren, Joshua (and acompanion, Ashley) Wiley and Christopher (nd Brianna) Wiley; one step-granddaughter, Kimberly; and three great-grandchildren, Joselynn, Lilly, and Aiden.
Friends will be received at Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 179 Miller St., Grantsville, on Saturday, Feb.10, from noon to 2 p.m. A funeral service will follow in the funeral home at 2 p.m., with Pastor Donny Hinkle officiating. Interment will be in the Bittinger Cemetery.

Mary Ann McGlumphy, 79, of Lumberport, formerly of Lost Creek passed away suddenly on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at her residence. She was born December 26, 1938 at Hundred, WV, a daughter of the late Clark Edward Stiles and Thelma Roween Payne Stiles.
She is survived by her children, Robin Linville and husband Mark, Lumberport, Gary McGlumphy and companion Brenda Hinkle, Mt Clare, Cathy Way and husband Bill, Lumberport, Connie Williams and husband Ron, Fairmont; and Carla McGlumphy of Lost Creek; one brother Lawrence Raymond Stiles and wife Ann, Diamond, OH; grandchildren, Tiffany Sharp and husband Danny, Lumberport, Nikki Baker and husband Craig, Shinnston, Ben Linville and companion Ally Greco, Orlando, FL, Nick McGlumphy, Fairmont, Resa Morgan and husband Matthew, Fairmont, Christopher Way and companion Jessica Beres, Martins Ferry, Kendra McCaffrey and husband Kalob, West Milford, Kayla Burnside and husband, Jason, Lumberport, Travis Golden, Clarksburg, Carolina Golden, Jane Lew, T.J. Golden and companion Bennie Haddox, Buckhannon, Brittany Sheppard, Morgantown, Jeremy Sheppard, Rivesville, Seneca Williams, Morgantown, Eden Williams, Fairmont, and Zayne Williams, Fairmont; great-grandchildren, Autumn Sharp, Lumberport, Connor Baker, Shinnston, Shawn and JaLynn Golden, Lost Creek, and Noah Lloyd, Jane Lew; several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Zinn McGlumphy and their daughter, Cindy Sheppard, along with 7 siblings.
Mary Ann was a member of the Lumberport United Methodist Church, where she was a member of United Methodist Women. She was an amazing cook and seamstress and was so proud of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A private family graveside service was conducted on Monday, February 5, 2018. A friends and family gathering will be from 5-8 PM Friday, February 9, 2018 with a Memorial Service at 7:00 PM at Lumberport United Methodist Church.
