Obituary for Barbara Jone Moore
Barbara Jone Martin Moore, 81, of Shinnston, WV passed away on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at Ruby Memorial Hospital. She was born June 18, 1937 to the late Ernest J. Martin and Mayme O’Dell Martin.
She is survived by two sons, Russ Moore and wife Judie of Bice’s Run, WV and Mark Moore and wife Micha of Leesburg, VA.
She was preceded in death by one granddaughter Ryan Lindsay Moore and Sister Hilda Martin Matheny and Brothers, Jack Martin, Eugene Martin, and Fredrick Martin.
Grandchildren are Chris Moore and spouse Tomasina, Russ Moore and spouse Melissa, Stacy Riley and spouse Chris, TJ Moore and spouse Rachael. Nathaniel and spouse Elizabeth Moore, Whitney and spouse Nathan Sutton.
Great Grandchildren are Briana and spouse Sport Phillips, Kaitlyn Larry , Brad Moore and spouse Latrisha, Hunter, Levi, Brycen, Nolan, Owen, Ryan, Katie, and Paige Moore. Oliver and Wyatt Sutton, Landon and Wesley Riley, Shane and Daymon Reynolds, Hunter Tatterson, and Phillip Hood.
Also surviving is her brother Harry V. Martin of Pine Bluff and her sister Fara Mae Webb of Wyatt.
Barbara was a protestant by Faith and member of Long Run United Methodist Church and a past member of the Pine Bluff Homemakers Club. She was an avid Mountaineer fan.
Friends will be received at the Harmer Funeral Home, 300 Pike St., Shinnston, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday December 27, 2018. A funeral service will be at the funeral home at 11:00 PM, Friday December 28, 2018 with Pastor Harry Holbert officiating. Interment will follow at Shinnston Memorial Cemetery.
In Lieu of flowers, the family is suggesting contributions to the Pulmonary Hypertension Association (CPHA) Phassociation.org.

Individual Note:
     (Wellington, OH)David L StilesAugust 16, 1938 - October 12, 2016 David L. Stiles, 78, of Wellington, died Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at his home with his wife by his side. Born on August 16, 1938 in Morgantown WV, he was the son of the late Carl and Marna (nee Watts) Stiles.

After high school David joined the United States Air Force, serving for 22 years as a security police officer. While in the Air Force he met fellow airman Sandy Lower, whom he later married. He was stationed and able to travel all over the world and eventually retired as a Master Sergeant. After retiring from the Air Force David worked for the Postal Service in Grafton as a rural carrier and retired in 2004. David was a wonderful cook and especially enjoyed baking. He also liked to travel to and attend Amish Country auctions.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 56 years, Sandy; children Keith (Trish) Stiles, of Castle Rock, CO, and Sharon Schumann, of Longmont, CO; sister-in-law Clancy Stiles of CO. He was preceded in death by his twin brother Donald. Memories of David will be shared daily by those who knew and loved him but no formal service will be held.
