Individual Note:
     Obituary

Harold L. Kester, born Oct. 12, 1932 in Shinnston, West Virginia, passed away on Sept. 10, 2015 at age 82.

He was the beloved husband of 60 years to Donna (nee Vernon); loving father of Kimberly Albanese (husband Richard), Kelvin (Lorie Diehm), and Keith (wife Cindy); dearest uncle of Jeffery Hyde (wife Sue), Karen Davisson (husband Gail), David Stiles (wife Frances) and many other nieces and nephews; devoted grandfather of nine and great-grandfather of six; survived by three sisters and preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.

Harold had been a resident of Euclid since 1969, previously of Cleveland. He had been a member of Christian Assembly for over 40 years and served there as deacon and trustee. Harold worked and retired from the GM Fisher Body plant in Euclid. Harold loved southern gospel music. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and sharing stories about his life. He loved to watch the Indians and Browns games. But most of all, Harold's biggest love was his wife, family, and friends.

Harold will be remembered most for his deep faith in God. He was a hardworking and gracious person who never met a stranger, as to him, everyone was a friend. He loved to tell humorous anecdotal stories about his life and when he did, he would chuckle and say, "You might want to write this down."

Celebration of Life Service will be held Monday, Sept. 14, 2015 at Christian Assembly Church, 25595 Chardon Rd., Richmond Heights, OH 44143 at 10 a.m. Burial following at Knollwood Cemetery.

Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Harold at the DeJohn-Flynn-Mylott Funeral Home of Willoughby Hills, 28890 Chardon Road (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m.
