Orville "Buck" Sharp, age 92, of Nobleton, FL passed away on November 29, 2014 under the care of Bayfront Healthcare Brooksville, Brooksville, FL. He was the husband of Goldie C. Sharp who preceded him on May 25, 2005. Born in Little Bingamon, West Virginia, he was a son of the late Lonnie R. and Arizona V. Sharp. Prior to his retirement he was a shipping specialist in Automotive Manufacturing. He was a member of the New Hope United Methodist Church of Istachatta, FL where he had been very active for many years. He enjoyed going to "Music Jams" in the area and would go three times a week. Orville "Buck" Sharp, age 92, of Nobleton, FL passed away on November 29, 2014 under the care of Bayfront Healthcare Brooksville, Brooksville, FL. He was the husband of Goldie C. Sharp who preceded him on May 25, 2005.

Born in Little Bingamon, West Virginia, he was a son of the late Lonnie R. and Arizona V. Sharp. Prior to his retirement he was a shipping specialist in Automotive Manufacturing. He was a member of the New Hope United Methodist Church of Istachatta, FL where he had been very active for many years. He enjoyed going to "Music Jams" in the area and would go three times a week. He was also active in the Nobleton and Istachatta areas and along with his late wife, Goldie was honored by Former President George H. W. Bush as being Points Of Light in their community. He was a volunteer Fireman and served as Secretary of the Nobleton Fire Department. He and his late wife, Goldie were always involved in works of charity in their community.

He will be deeply missed by his son, William Sharp and his wife Rosemarie, his 5 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandson as well as his many friends and neighbors in the Nobleton and Istachatta areas.

Contributions to your favorite charity in Buck's name would be greatly appreciated and appropriate considering how involved he was in works of charity.


There will be a Memorial Service at the New Hope United Methodist Church, Istachatta, on Sunday, December 28, 2014 at 2:00 P.M
