Individual Note:
      Arthur P. Moran, age 89, of Glenwood Hill, Clarksburg, WV, departed this life on October 10, 2011, at the Orange Regional Medical Center in Middletown, NY. He was born in Clarksburg, WV on May 27, 1922 a son of the late Baxter Whitman and Sylvia Bramer Moran. His wife, Betty Nutter Moran, preceded him in death on January 23, 2009. Mr. Moran is survived by his son, Alan Moran and wife Judy of Monroe, NY; two daughters, Deborah Goff and husband Ed of Clarksburg, and Melinda Helmick of Fairmont; four grandchildren, Rachel Moran, Erin Moran, Kasie McIntyre and Ashleigh Airhart; three great grandchildren, Lauren Feierstadt, Haleigh Airhart and Lauren Riffle. He also leaves behind his sister, Noami Parks of Clalifornia as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, Mr. Moran was preceded in death by one brother, Arlos(Bud) Moran and three sisters, Mildred Wolford, Dorothy Stier and Betty Swiger. Mr. Moran was a member of the United Methodist Temple for over fifty years, and served our country honorably during WW II as a veteran in the US Army. He was a retired glassworker with Fourco Glass, Jerry Run Division. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #155 AF & AM, a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason, a member of the Nemesis Temple Shrine of Parkersburg and a member of the Royal Order of Jester's. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the United Methodist Temple Church, 665 Locust Avenue, Clarksburg, WV 26301.

Visitation Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort, WV on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
