FAIRMONT — Dennis Dale Hollandsworth, 45, of Barrackville, passed away on January 25, 2019.
He was born in Fairmont on August 22, 1973, a son of Robert L. Hollandsworth and Linda Gaskins Hollandsworth of Barrackville.
Dennis was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, and friend; he will be remembered for his love of fishing, riding four-wheelers, and spending time with family and friends.
Dennis is survived by his loving wife, Jamie Hollandsworth, and their two daughters: Remi Hollandsworth and Lennon Hollandsworth.
He is also survived by brothers, Jeff Hollandsworth and wife Penney Laine, of Barrackville, and Michael Hollandsworth, of Barrackville; sister, Tamelia Geary and husband Bill, of Morgantown; mother-in-law, Kathy Robinson and husband Chet; father-in-law, Rick Tichnell and partner, Annette Cerisano; nieces and nephews: Julissa Sackett and husband Dakota, Lacie Geary, Dale Hollandsworth and wife Stephanie, Matthew Hollandsworth, Ally Morris and husband Alex; great-niece, Harper Hollandsworth; and many loving aunts, uncles, and close friends.
Family and friends are welcome to call at Carpenter and Ford Funeral Home, 209 Merchant Street, Fairmont, from 1-8 p.m. on Monday and from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Tuesday.
Funeral services will be taking place at the funeral home at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, January 29, 2019, with Pastor Roy Meeks officiating.
In keeping with the family’s wishes, Dennis will be cremated following the service.

     Ernest 'Ernie' Linger Baughman Jr.

SALEM — Ernest “Ernie” Linger Baughman Jr., 65, of Cherry Camp Road, Salem, departed this life on Wednesday, March 22, 2017.


He was born on March 27, 1951, in Clarksburg, a son of the late Ernest Linger Baughman Sr. and Dora Gay Ford Baughman.


On May 11, 1986, he married Cindy Finley Baughman, who survives.


Also surviving are two daughters, Stevie Baughman and companion Bobby, Lost Creek, and Jena Baughman, Salem; two sisters, Alexis Fox and husband Russell, Weirton, and Debbie Peterson, Orange Co., CA; three brothers, Donald Baughman and wife Patty, San Juan Capistrano, CA, David Baughman and wife Diane, Corona, CA, and Jeff Gibson, San Francisco, CA; four grandsons, Nicolas, Hunter, Brently and Mason; several nieces and nephews; and loving cousins, especially Dilu and Rulu, with whom he made many wonderful memories on Big Battle.

Mr. Baughman was employed by Huffman Construction as an excavator operator for 13 years. Ernie was a 1969 graduate of Doddridge County High School and was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in Vietnam. He was a member of Welcome Baptist Church. Ernie enjoyed his vintage cars and having fun with his trains with his grandchildren. He was always ready to help anyone with his generosity and kindness and will be greatly missed by so many who knew and loved him.

Funeral services will be conducted in the Harbert Funeral Home, 287 W. Main St., Salem, on Wednesday, March 29, 2017, at 1 p.m. with Pastor Robert Marino presiding. Interment will follow in the Center Point Cemetery with full military graveside rites being accorded by the combined Doddridge County veterans organizations. The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, March 28, 2017, from 4-8 p.m. and after 9 a.m. on Wednesday until time of service.
