.Daughter of Henry and Elizabeth (Mallin) Borden. She married (1)widower John McCampbell Scott, a farmer, age 29, on 12 November 1857 in Rockbridge County, Virginia. He was the son of John and Anna (McCampbell) Scott. He died 8 February 1862.
She married (2) William S. Robinson, age 24, a shoemaker, on 17 October 1866 in Rockbridge County, Virginia, the son of Jas. M. Robinson and Polly A. Robinson. He died 2 February 1929.
Monty Roy Shanholtz, 62, of Enterprise, passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, following an extended illness.
He was born October 7, 1953 at Clarksburg, a son of the late Roy W. and Eleanor Jean Bice Shanholtz.
Monty is survived by his Brother Richard Shanholtz and wife Judy of Shinnston; nephew, Rick Shanholtz and wife Janet of Clarksburg and their children, Alyssa Emily and Matt and Matt’s son, Felix Priteo of Clarksburg; niece Jennifer Stankovich and husband Peter, of Seattle, WA; and their children, Sophia and Julia; uncles, Gene Vance of Shinnston, Marion Bice and wife Charlotte of Mannington, and Aunt, Deborah Nutter and husband, Marvin of Canton, OH.
He was preceded in death by his aunt, Norma Vance, and uncles, Fay and James Shanholtz; grandparents, Fred M. and Gladys B. Stiles Bice; and Archie and Opal Miller Shanholtz.
Monty was a machinist and Welder at Mon. Power Co., Harrison Power Station, until his illness. He was a 1971 graduate of Shinnston High School
Friends will be received at the Harmer Funeral Home, Shinnston from 6-9 PM Thursday. A funeral service will be at the funeral home at 1:00 PM Friday, October 30, 2015 with Pastor Robert Shingleton officiating. Interment will follow at the Shinnston Memorial Cemetery.
