Obituary:
Gary Lynn Stiles, 59, of Morgantown, passed away, ending his earthly struggle and began his heavenly eternal life on Saturday, July 9, 2011, his wife Debby and niece Adrienne were at his side.
He was born July 21, 1951, in Morgantown, the son of Harold L. Stiles and the late Mary Catherine Rose Stiles.
Gary grew up in Brave, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Waynesburg High School and the Morgantown Business College. He worked at Romisch Manufacturing and Metals for over 30 years and at Huntington Steel for over 5 years.
He participated in many sports and outdoor activities over the years. He especially enjoyed mountain biking and rails to trails biking with his wife Debby. He also enjoyed white water rafting and had a deep interest in the Civil War.
He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Debra Cady Stiles, his father, Harold L. Stiles and wife, Bessie of Brave, PA, his brother, Allen C. Stiles and wife, Mary Jo of Mt. Holly, NC, nephews, Captain Andrew C. Stiles of El Paso, TX and Tyler J. Stiles of Mt. Holly, NC, father-in-law, David B. Cady, brother-in-law, David E. Cady, sister-in-law, Patricia J. Wadsworth and husband, Robert and niece Adrienne J. Lemine all of Morgantown. He will be greatly missed by his pets, Mac, Casper, Fuzzy and Tasha.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Catherine Rose Stiles.
Friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown from 2-4 & 7-9pm on Tuesday, July 12, and from 9:30-10:30am on Wednesday, July 13. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 10:30am on Wednesday, with Rev. Dana McKenzie officiating. Interment will follow at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens, Westover.

Edgar "Eddie" Stiles, 81, of Blacksville, W.Va., died Tuesday, November 10, 2015, in his residence, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born December 23, 1933, in Wadestown, a son of the late Milton Stiles and Blanche Tennant Stiles Goodnight.
Mr. Stiles was a retired electrician. He was a member of IBEW Local 425 of Pittsburgh for 59 years.
On June 4, 2005, he was inducted into Golden Circle Country Music Honor Society. He was in various bands throughout his lifetime, and they would play music at fairs, nursing homes and other festivities. He loved to spend time with family at the farm.
He served in the U.S. Army in Germany from 1956 to 1958.
Mr. Stiles was Protestant.
Surviving are his wife of 59 years, Janice Snyder Stiles, whom he married November 25, 1955; a son and spouse, Steven Stiles and Ronda of Pentress, W.Va.; a daughter and spouse, Marcia Peoples and husband Jim of Morgantown, W.Va.; two brothers and their spouses, Harold Stiles and wife Bessie of Brave and Wayne Stiles and wife Jean of Morgantown; a sister, Lucille Kennedy of York; six grandchildren, Jennifer, Danyele, Elise and husband Brad, Derek, Michael and Amanda; and a great-grandson, William.
Deceased, in addition to his parents, is stepfather Roy Goodnight.
Morgantown Hospice and Amedisys Partner and their nurses, Dawn, Courtney, Chantel, Jim, and Karen, provided compassion to Mr. Stiles and his family during his illness.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in Owen-Neely Funeral Home, 5894 Mason-Dixon Highway, Blacksville, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 14, with the Rev. Samuel K. Hibbs Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Olive Cemetery, Pentress.
