Savage VFW Helps Plan Event Queen Con lest, Street Carnival To Be Featured The body will he taken to the Bcthlem Church in Preston yesterday in GarreU County Me- morial Hospital where she had been a patient 26 days. She was the wife of Wilson C. Wilt. County near Reedsville, where a Born at Harman, W. Va., she short service will be conducted at 4:30 p.m. tomorrow. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Ruth Wilt
SWANTON — Ruth Virginia Wilt, 92, Dry Run Road, Swanton, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2019.
Born Jan. 29, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Perry W. Wilt and Hattie Pearl (Gaster) Wilt. She was also preceded in death by her nephew, Jeremy Marsh; and her brother-in-law, Eugene H. Marsh.
Ruth was a member of the Westernport Church of the Brethren, where she taught an adult Sunday school class for many years.
Ruth was a 1945 Bruce High School graduate. After graduation from high school, Ruth worked at the Piedmont Herald as a linotype machine operator. She was affectionately called Aunt Ruth by many, not only by her niece and nephew. Ruth was a sweet lady who always shared her warm smile with others. She was loved by all who knew her.
Ruth is survived by her sister, Mary Phyllis Marsh, Swanton; her niece, Wendy Browne and husband Dennis, Hagerstown; and her great-nephews, Andrew and Patrick Browne.
Family and friends will be received at the Westernport Church of the Brethren on Saturday, Aug. 17, at noon. A memorial service will follow the visitation at 1 p.m., with Pastor Diane May officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Westernport Church of the Brethren Outreach Ministries or Garrett County Hospice.
Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, assisted the family with arrangements.

Jeremy Wilt Marsh
SWANTON — Jeremy Wilt Marsh, 48, Dry Run Road, Swanton, passed away on Sunday, March 18, 2018.
Born on May 19, 1969, he was a son of Mary Phyllis (Wilt) Marsh and the late Eugene Howard Marsh.
Jeremy was a graduate of the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland. He was a member of the Alpha-Delta Chi Fraternity at Frostburg State University.
Along with his Mother, Phyllis, Swanton, he is also survived by a sister, Wendy Browne and husband Dennis, Hagerstown, and a half-sister, Willow Wingate, Baltimore. Jeremy is also survived by his Aunt Ruth V. Wilt, Aunt Leah Marsh, Aunt Louise Morgan, and Aunt Rebecca Johnson; his two nephews, Andrew and Patrick Browne; his cousin, Anna Johnson; and his companion, Elizabeth Hogan.
Family and friends will be received at the Westernport Church of the Brethren on Saturday, March 24, at 11 a.m. A memorial service will follow the visitation at noon, with Pastor Diane May officiating.
