I have been unable to locate any graves for John's father, grandfather, or great grandfather
even though they all died in Monongalia County, West Virginia. The graves have either
grown up or the markers have been destroyed or removed down through the years.
John's greatgrandfather, Stephen, was the first Stiles to settle in West Virginia prior to
the Revolutionary War.
Stone is located in Stiles Family Cemetery near Metz, WV.
Anna was John's second wife. His first wife was Sarah Ann Park.
Sarah believed to have died in Iowa shortly after giving birth to a son named Stephen.
John returned to West Virginia with all the children except Stephen,
who stayed in Iowa with his grandparents. Sarah believed to have been buried in Iowa.

Elvira Thomas Davis Stiles Morrow
John Wesley was Elvira's second husband. She was first married to Turner L. Davis.
She had three children by the first marriage and three children while married to John Wesley.
After the death of John Wesley she remarried to David Morrow a widower with one son.
Elvira is buried in IOOF Cemetery in Enterprise, WV.
