1:00AM Happy New Year, I hope this year is better than the last. Going to bed. Sugar 219
12:00OPM Up and about, feel lousy, another year and and the same old shit. Things will never get any better, just worse but Iwill keep on keeping on. I got my COLA. Over all, retirement, Social Security, and my disability I got a $86 increase, Checked my sugar 155,
1:00PM Had a glass of orange juice, buttered toast, sausage links and a cup of coffee.
4:00PM Went for my bike ride, very exhausted when I got back.
5:00PM Got the ribs out of the over, A little overcooked but taste great.
8:00PM Kit called and we talked for about an hour.
9:30PM Eric called and we talked for a while.
11:00PM Signed off with Jane. Watching some TV

January 2, 2024
1:00AM Going to bed. Checked sugar 110.
9:30AM Up and about. Checked my sugar 109,
11:00AM Placed an order with Shipt. Had a glass of Orange juice and a bowl of oats with honey and milk.
1:00PM Heather claimed my order to be delivered between 2 and 3pm.
3:30PM Groceries delivered by Heather and a man with a very large Afro. They didn't wait for me to get to the porch so I gave Heather a $5 tip on the bill but gave her a bad review,
6:00PM Watching local news.
6:30PM Watching NBC nightly news.
7:00PM Heated up the rib from yesterday and fixed a large salad for supper.
8:00PM Kit called. Seems When she fell she probably twisted her ankle and by today all the blood had settled in her ankle and foot and her ankle and foot were purple. Doctor said to stay off of her foot and to keep it elevated. She was in bed when she called. Walter said last night that he was going to call me today but Kit said he was tired and Snoozed on and off all day. I know how he feels. 11:00PM Signed off with Jane and watch Finding Your Roots with Henry Lewis Gates. I have it recorded from earlier.

11:30AM Had a glass of orange juice. Checking my email and cleaning up junk on my computer.
12:00PM Had link sausage and buttered toast.
4:00PM Went for bike ride. No mail.

7:00PM Watching FOX news. Having Taco without the shell for supper.
8:00PM Kit called, she said her ankle and foot still hurt but seem to be better. She and Walter went out for dinner. Walter was not happy with the price of his meal.

9:30PM Ordered a dog grooming kit for $27 and should be delivered on Friday by Prime.

January 4, 2024
1:00AM Going to bed.
04:50AM All hell broke loose. Angel's dogs started barking and Bella started barking. The outside security lights came on. Looked out front door and saw nothing but Bella would not shut up. The security light went out and Bella kept barking and then the light came back on. I went into the kitchen and turned on the light and everything seemed to be OK. Turned on porch light and there was a small package on the step coming into the house. I figured it was a package from Amazon of a set of clippers and tools to groom Bella. Left the package there and went back to bed.
11:00AM Checked sugar 149. Had a glass of orange juice.
11:30AM Received a call from a VA representative wanting to set up a video chat with the VA to review all of my death benefits.
12:30PM Set up ZOOM on the phone and started the interview. Couldn't set it up on the computer. Talked with Kevin for well over an hour and filled out some paperwork and he said he would email them to me and I could print them and finish filling them out. I hope it is all on the level and just not some ploy to try to sell me something and send me a lot junk email. Will find out.
3:00PM Walter called and we talked. He said he has a hot water leak in his guest bathroom and the floor is warm to the touch.
5:40ON Sonia called and said she would drop by tomorrow. She said she spent Christmas in Orlando with her two sisters and spent New Years with friends in Miami.
6:00PM Watching local news.
6:30PM Watching NBC nightly news.
9:00PM Had a snack, bologna sandwich.
11:00PM Watching previously recorded Gunsmoke.

1:00PM Had a couple blue berry waffles and a cup of coffee.

7:00PM Fixed supper, steak, with onion, green pepper, and sliced red potatoes.
8:00PM Kit called and she has had a time with Walter he had to get his little boat out and go the back of his big boat and drain bilge water since the broker to sell his boat told him he had bilge water and the sump pump wasn't working.

January 6, 2024
1:00AM Checked my blood sugar 196. Going to bed.
12:00PM Up and about. Checked sugar 96
1:00PM Had bacon, buttered toast and coffee.
4:00PM Going for my bike ride.
4:30PM Back and no mail, I did get a little warm on the ride.
6:00PM Watching local news.
8:00PM Kit called and we talked for a while. She is upset because when she got on the phone he decided to go to the grocery store and not tell her he was going. Kit says he shouldn't drive at night.
10:30PM My computer said that my battery was getting low so started checking out what was wrong.
10:45PM While checking the AC plugs my left knee started popping and I had a very difficult time getting up and getting to a chair to sit down. I hope this is only temporary.
11:00PM Signed off with Jane and sitting in my chair. Just hoping that when I get up I can walk.
11:30PM Sat in my chair for a few minutes and then got up and went to the bathroom. Seems my knees are OK for now. I have the fear that this will happen and I won't be able to walk.

1:00AM Going ti bed, Checked my blood sugar 147.
12:00PM Up and about, Checked sugar 161. Had orange juice and 2 waffles. Getting ready to go to doctor's appointment at 2pm.
1:33PM Leaving for doctors appointment.
2:00PM Arrived at the clinic and checked in.
2:15PM in to see the doctor, a new on, a women, Nail MD. This is anew doctor. Very nice lady.
3:30PM Leaving the clinic. filled out paper work for her to get the results from my last sleep test at the VA Hospital in Tampa. She gave me another inhaler that she said would help me with loosing my voice at time.
4:00PM Stopped at Taco Belle and got 3 burritos for supper.
5:00PM Finished eating and drinking a coke zero. Watching The Five.
6:00PM Watching local news.
6:30Pm Watching NBC nightly news.
8:00PM Kit called. Shi had a peaceful evening while Walter was at QB meeting.

8:00PM Kit called, everything seems to be OK with her and Walter.
10:30PM Signed of with Jane for the night.

January 10, 2024
1:00AM Checked my blood sugar 194 Going to bed.
11:30AM Up and about. Checked sugar 128.
12:00PM Took Bella outside. Now just sitting thinking about getting something to eat before I have to take a shower and get ready to go to my doctors appointment at 3:40 with the Dermatologist.
3:40PM Back from my appointment. Froze several moles and removed one on the back of my left hand. Will get a report from lab in a couple weeks.
7:00PM Fixed BBQ boneless chicken wings.
8:00PM Kit called and we talked for an hour.
10:30PM Signed off with Jane, I have to get up early tomorrow and go to the lab.
11:00PM Getting ready to go to bed. Checked blood sugar 234.

January 11, 2024
8:00AM Up and about. Getting ready to go to the lab for tests.
9:00AM Took Bella outside. Leaving for the labs. Overcast.
9:30AM Checked in at Clinic in Plant City.
9:45AM Finished with test and since I had to fast before tests so I had a ensure before I start the drive back.
10:00AM Didn't sleep well last night so going to take a little nap before I start the rest of the day.
5:00PM Watching The Five.

7:00PM Had Pizza with extra pepperoni for supper.
8:00PM Talked to Kit for over an hour.

January 12, 2024.
1:00AM Going to bed. Checked my blood sugar 176.
8:30AM Telephone rang and woke me. It was a scam call from Salem WV. Still tired so went back to sleep.
12:00PM Up and about, my soulders hurt, my back hurts, and both my knees ache and are weak and stiff but I still make it. This morning my eyes are a little blurry. Checked my sugar it was 71. 12:15PM Had a glass of orange juice. Bella wants to go outside.
1:15PM Had a cup of pudding, 2 small blue berry waffles and having a cup of black coffee.
1:30PM Have a cup of coffee, took a couple pain pills,
4:00PM Went for bike ride and picked up mail, my tax information came from Defense Department, SS, and insurance company.
6:00PM Watching local news.
6:30PM Watching NBC nightly news.
8:00PM Kit called, still having trouble with her leg.
9:00PM Watching TV.
11:00PM Picking up getting ready to go to bed.

January 13, 2024
1:00AM Going to bed checked sugar 189
11:00AM Up and about. Checked sugar 147.
11:30AM Les Williamson just dropped by. We talked for a while and I figured he my be here to borrow money but he told me he was homeless because where he was living was sold and he was evicted. Gave it some thought that since I had an empty bed room and and two bathes, so I offered to let him move in temperately, He asked how long temporary was and I said we would have to take it as it works out. I told him no charge or rent so he could save money to find another place. Les has always been honest with me in the past and this is the only thing I can do just to keep another person from being homeless. He works 5 days a week, off on Saturday and Sunday. He does not want to cook here, he eats out all the time. I would only see him from after work until the next morning. It shouldn't anything extra on me. I assume Les will call me when he needs to move in.
12:45PM Talked to Eric and he agrees that it should be OK.
1:00PM Talked to Jane and she said it sounds good to her.
4:00PM Went on my bike to the PO and there was no mail.
5:00PM Angel dropped by and we chatted for a while. Gave him Eric's phone number.
7:00PM Having dinner pasta and tomato sauce in Microwave.
8:00PM Kit called and we talked until her phone went dead.
9:00PM Watching TV like any other Saturday night.

11:00PM Getting ready to go to bed.

January 14, 2024
1:00AM Checked my sugar 191. Going to bed.
12:00PM Up and about, checked sugar 207. Don't know why my sugar.
12:15PM Have supper in the crock pot. Should be ready around 6pm.
4:00PM Noticed that my crock pot had started but then some way got pulled out. Plugged it back in and it had to start over again.
7:00PM Checked the crock pot and it isn't finished.
7:30PM Les Williamson came and is prepared to stay the night. We will get more straightened out tomorrow night after work.
8:00PM Kit called and since Les and I were talking Kit and I only talked about 15 minutes.
9:00PM Les went to bed, he has to be up at 5am.
10:00PM Checked crock pot and tastes good but the potatoes aren't done. Put in 2 more cups of water and left it to cook.
11:00PM Check to see if I can eat a little of the stew.

January 15, 2024
1:00AM Going to bed. Checked blood sugar 161
10:00AM Up and about, checked my blood sugar 141.
10:15AM Had a glass of orange juice.
10:30AM Placed an order with shipt to be delivered between 3 and 4.
12:00PM Put crock pot on and added diced tomatoes and making soup. My order claimed by Glenn.
3:00PM My grocery order delivered.
4:00PM Raining, no bike ride today.
5:00PM Les home from work.
8:00PM Les took a shower and went to bed. He said Kit called and we talked for an hour.
9:15PM Eric called and we talk for a few minutes.
10:00PM Watching TV.
11:00PM Empty crock pot and in sink. Put a container in fridge for Les to take with him for lunch.

January 16, 2024
1:00AM Going to bed. Checked my blood sugar 191.
10:00AM Up and about. Checked blood sugar 112.
10:30AM Had a glass of orange juice.
11:00AM Glenda just came. Had a bowl of shredded wheat with milk. Glenda just came to clean the hours. The mail man just came by and dropped off some meds in a box to large to put in the box at the mail boxes.

3:15PM Glenda just went home, will be back on February 16th.
4:00PM Not going for my bike ride because the streets are all wet an it would be messy to ride today.
4:30PM Kit text she and Walter were going out to dinner and she will talk to me tomorrow night.
5:00PM Les home. He forgot to take the stew to work for lunch so he heated the stew and had it for supper.
6:00PM Watched local news.

8:00PM Les took a shower and went to his room.

2:00PM Gave Bella her bath. It wasn't that bad but I am going to have to use some scissors and clip the balled up hair on her band and sides. 6:00PM Les just got home. Watching local news.

7;00PM Had mac and cheese for supper. Jane got her Birthday card.
8:00PM Barb called Kurt is worst and in the hospital.
9:00pm Les went to bed and calling his grandchildren.

11:30AM Up and about, check blood sugar 99.
12:00PM Had cereal and taking shower and get ready to go to doctor's appointment at Plant City.
1:30PM Going for my doctor's appointment at Watson Clinic Plant City. Rained on my way to Plant City.
2:00PM In the office with Lindsey. We discussed my problems and she changed my thyroid meds to a larger dose.
3:15PM Picked up KFC and picked up my new meds.
4:00PM Back home.
5:00PM Les is home and we had supper, KFC chicken breast and mashed potatoes and gravy.
8:00PM Kit called and we talked for an hour.
9:00PM Les went to his room to talk with his grand children and go to bed.
10:30PM Signed off with Jane.

January 19, 2024

12:00PM Up and about, checked blood auger 110.
1:30PM Had bacon and buttered toast, with a cup of black coffee.
4:00PM Les just came home, fixing spaghetti for supper, Les brought Garlic Texas toast.
5:00PM Someone dropped off Les's nephew, his name is Cody Kemp from George.
5:30PM Les and Cody just left to go somewhere, didn't ask, none of my business.

8:00PM Kit called and we talked for an hour.
9:00PM Les is back and went to bed.
10:00PM Took Bella outside.

January 20, 2024
1:00AM Going to bed. Checked my blood sugar. 245.
11:00AN Up and about, Checked my blood sugar 140.
12:15PM Eric arrived.
3:00PM Eric groomed Bella and got all the knots out of her hair then he gave her a bath. He looks good but she will have to snuggle tonight or get cold in bed.
7:00PM We had supper, chill. Les came home.
8:30PM Eric and I watching TV. Les went to his room and will probably turn in for the night.
10:00PM Signed off with Jane, The weather is terrible in Kingwood. In single digits and snowing and blowing.
11:00PM Eric and I are watching some old weird movies on TV.

January 21,2024
1:00AM Going to bed. Checked my blood sugar 191
10:00AM Up and about, checked my blood sugar 160.
11:00AM Fixed Eric and I some sausage and toast and coffee for breakfast.
12:00PM Checked and Les isn't here, don't know when he went out.
1:00PM Eric and I just sitting and talking and watching FOX news.
2:00PM Eric leaving for home. Watching a movie, "Rambo".
4:00PM Les called and wanted to know what kind of a sub Iliked and he brought me home a sub for supper.
4:30PM Les and I sat and watched the Tampa/Michigan football game. First football game I have watched in a long time.
6:00PM Eric called that he was home.
8:00PM Kit called and we talked for a while. She said that Walter's brother in NY was in the hospital and they found a Rehap for him. I hope everything works out OK

January 22, 2024

10:30AM Up and about, checked my blood sugar 104.
11:00AM Had a glass of orange juice and a bowl of cereal.
11:30AM Placed an order for delivery at 3pm.
1:45PM Order claimed by Debora.
3:00PM Debora delivered my grocery order.
4:00PM Les called that he is going to supper with his nephew and would be home later.
8:00PM Kit called and we talked for over an hour.
9:00PM Eric called and we talked for a few minutes. He he said the boys are fine. We talked about keeping his chickens warm during the cold nights.

8:00PM Kit called and we talked for around an hour. Everybody at her house is great.
8:30PM Saw on FB tonight that Helen Anderson Holbert Fleming died. Another of my old classmates. Not many of them left.
9:00PM Eric called and we talked for a few minutes. Told him about Bella scratching herself and had a blood spot on her side. I will have to take her to the Vet to see what is wrong.
11:00PM Signed off with Jane and I am watching TV.

January 24, 2024
1:00PM Going to bed, Checked my blood sugar 139.
10:00AM Up and about, checked blood sugar 149.
12:00PM Had toast, orange juice and link sausage.
1:00PM Finished 2 loads of clothes.
2:00PM Emptied the dishwasher.
3:20PM Les called and he isn't feeling well and said he was not going to eat supper.
4:20PM Les just came home as I was getting the bike out to go for my ride. Picked up the mail which was a bill for TV and wifi and bill from Dental Asso. Wladen Wood, paid on line, back home,returned for the day.
5:00PM Watching "The Five" on FOX.

8:00PM Kit called and we talked for an hour.

January 25, 2024
1:00AM Going to bed, Checked blood sugar 189 6:00AM Woke up and didn't feel well. Tried to get out of bed and was very dizzy. Had a lot of difficulty to stand because of being dizzy and light headed. Had to use my walker to make it to the bathroom and back. When I lay back down the dizziness subsided. Went back to sleep.
11:00AM Up and about. Seems the dizziness has gone. Very tired. Checked my blood sugar. 181 Have no idea why I was dizzy before, thought it might be my low blood sugar but don't know. Had a glass of orange juice.
11:45AM The temperature is 83 Degrees, AC just kicked on.
4:00PM Going for my bike ride. Nice and warm for a ride.
5:00PM Had a chicken pot pie and a glass of coke zero.
8:00PM Kit called and we talked for an hour.
10:30PM Eric called and all is good at his house as usual.
10:45PM Signed off with Jane. Raining in WV and temps in 50s.

January 26, 2024
1:00AM Going to bed. Checked my blood sugar 237 10:30AM Up and about. Checked blood sugar 114.
11:00AM Had a glass of orange juice and a bowl of grape nut cereal with milk.
12;00pPM Put beans and ham scrapes in the crock pot for supper.
2:40PM Les called and asked if there was anything he can pick up for supper. Also asked how I was doing.
4:00PM Went for bike ride and picked up the mail. All that was in the mail was my monthly notification of my SS deductions.
5:00PM Watching "The Five".
6:00PM Les and I had pinto beans in the crock pot for supper.
8:00PM Kit didn't call tonight, She text earlier that they were having guest.
11:00PM Signed off with Jane and Eric called and we talked for a short time.

January 27, 2024
1:00AM Going to bed. Checked my blood sugar 204,
10:30AM Up and about checked my blood sugar 138. Had a glass of orange juice.
11:00AM Place an order with Shipt to be delivered between 2 and 3.
12:00PM My order was claimed by Debora.
2:30PM Debora delivered my order.
3:00PM Putting things away.
5:00PM Had myself a bowl of beans, Still good.
5:30PM Les came home. He is doing some washing.
8:00PM Kit called, Seems Walter hurt his knee and went to the doctor for xrays yesterday. Kit got a good report on her injury to her leg. She is back to exercising again.
9:00PM Les went to bed and I am just chatting with Jane and watching TV.

January 28, 2024
1:00AM Going to bed. Barb's Birthday.
11:00AM Up and about, checked my blood sugar 74. Had a glass of orange juice.
11:30AM Cleaned out crock pot and deposed of left over beans. Put crock pot in dishwasher.
3:00PN Gave Bella a bath.
6:00PM Les home.
8:00PM Kit called, Things OK at her house.
8:30PM Les took the garbage out to the curb.
11:00PM Signed off with Jane, Eric called and we talked for a short time.

January 29, 2024
1:00AM Going to bed. Blood sugar 184.
12:00PM Up and about, Checked my blood sugar 90.
2:30PM Leaving for Bella's appointment at the Vet. When we got there found out the appointment is tomorrow. I just the days mixed up so will have to go back tomorrow.
4:00PM Checked the mail on my way back from the Vets. Got Barb's Readers Digest and my 1099 INT from the bank
5:00PM Les home and had a pot pie for supper.
7:00PM Had BBQ boneless chicken wings for supper with a glass of apple juice.
8:00PM Kit called and we talked for over an hour. Less went to bed,
10:00PM Watching Gutfeld on FOX news.

January 30, 2024
1:00AM Going to bed. Checking my blood sugar. 204
11:00AM Up and about. Checked blood sugar 133. Larry cut the grass this morning. Left a note for him to call me. I needed his phone number. In my phone under Larry Grass. Wanted to get his number just in case I may not be here sometime in future.
2:30PM Leaving for Vet for appointment for Bella
5:00PM Back home from Vet. Bella has itchy skin caused by yeast infection. Vet gave her a shot and gave me meds for her to take. She had ear infections so have meds to put in her ears. Vet gave her an oral chew able for fleas. total cost $554.10. She seems a little better probably from the shots. Also ordered a spray from Amazon to spray on furniture and rugs to keep down and kill fleas and eggs.
7:00PM Les just came home, he said he went to his church to eat supper.
8:00PM Kit called and we talked for about 45 minutes. Everything OK at her house.

7:00AM Woke up by lots of red lights on the highway rt02 in front of the park. Looks like an accident.

12:00PM Placed order with Shipt. Jason assigned. Received text from Debora that they had bundled and she didn't claim my order.
3:00PM Jason delivered my grocery order. Everything is OK.
5:00PM Eric went to Subway to get us a sub,
5:30PM Eric back home with the subs and Les just came home.
6:00PM Watching local news. Found out that the accident outside of the park was a pickup passing a cement truck and hit a motorcycle head on and killed the man on the motorcycle. The truck rolled and the driver is in the hospital.

8:00PM Kit called and she was very tired so we only talked about 20 minutes. We will get back into our routine on Monday nights.

5:20AM Heard a bang and woke up, Les leaving for work.
11:30AM Up and about, checked blood sugar 123. Temperature 68 degrees and sunny with clouds and winds up to 10mph.
1:00PM Bella and I had sausage links and buttered toast and I had a cup of black coffee.
4:00PM Going for my bike ride to check the mail.
4:30PM Back from bike ride, no mail except junk mail.
5:00PM Watching The Five. My new computer will connect to the internet. It says No WiFi. Tried over and over to reset computer and still no WiFi. I talked to Eric and we both came to the realization that the WiFi receiver was not working.
5:30PM Les is home and he told me he ha not gotten the lug nuts tight enough an they backed off, he has it fixed now. He would 8:00PM Kit called and we talked for about 30 minutes.
10:30PM Eric called an I told him I ordered the NIC car and it first said by 10am tomorrow but then when I finished the order it said later. We will see.
11:00PM Getting things ready to go to bed, won't have to get up for anything tomorrow. Nothing until the 16th when Glenda will be here to clean.

Walter left the bilge drain open and when the tide came in and water was going into the bilge so Walter had to get his small boat and replace the plug into the bilge and then pump the water out. Walter slipped in the little boat and had a hard time getting out of the small boat. Finally got out and got the little boat back on shore.

6:30PM Les and I watching the Super Bowl LVIII The game was fairly good, I don't care who wins.
8:30PM Les went to bed.
10:30PM After the game went into over time the KC Chiefs won 25 to 22. The only bad thing about the game was the half show. It was a poor excuse for a half time show. It was strictly a MTV type show controlled by DEI.

3:30PM Les came home and he said his battery was giving him problems. Got out the battery charger so he could put it on the battery over night so he could go to work tomorrow and and then get a new battery.

3:50PM My order just showed up with no contact from my shopper by text. It was a man an I asked who he was and he said he was Krysta's husband. That is against the rules but Iwon't report it, don't want to cause the shopper any problem, he was a very polite young man and he said he was helping his wife.
4:00PM Going for my bike ride and when I get back am going to look into having Kroger's delivery. There is someone on my street that has Kroger's because I see the truck come and go regularly.
4:30PM Back for my ride. Feel fie except a little tired as usual. Les just came home.

10:00PM Noticed it was getting cold in here so checked the A/C heater and it is not working. Adjusted the thermastate and tried turning on the fan and nothing worked. Will have to check the breaker tomorrow after Les goes to work. If it is on then I will have to ball the service man.

7:00AM Up and checked the breaker in the bedroom and it had tripped. Reset the breaker and nothing. Still no heat.
8:30AM Called the AND and the repairman will be here this afternoon.
9:00AM Checked blood sugar, 117.
1:00PM AND repairman here. He checked out the A/C and he came back and said the breaker at the A/C had tripped but found no reason. He said it could be a soft breaker and if it happens again call and he will bring a new breaker to replace it. No charge for today.
2:00PM The heat is on and everything is good again, It was 43 degrees last night and it was 56 degrees inside.
4:00PM Went for my bike ride and picked up the mail, nothing but junk mail.

10:55PM The heat went off just like the other night. Checked the breaker in bedroom and it was blown so I reset it but nothing.
11:00PM Went outside and checked the A/C breaker didn't appear to be tripped but turned off and turned back on, came back in the house and the fan was on. Ran for about 20 minutes and I heard a bang and the fan went off, so I figured the breaker tripped again. It is 49 degrees outside and 70 degrees in house. Will call at 8 am in the morning. Have to be up for Termanix anyway.

7:45AM Up and about. Called AND reported that my AC Heat was not working. Went out about 11pm last night. They said they would try to schedule someone for today, if not withing 24 hours.

8:30AM Rechecked with AND about the service and was told that I am on the schedule for today but not time period. The service man will be here when he shows up.
10:00AM Aaron from Terminix arrived and came in and sprayed for roaches in the living room, around base boards and behind fridge and freezer etc, and then went outside and did his scheduled spraying around the outside of the MH.
12:00PM Having my second cup of coffee and the temperature is 80 degrees outside and inside of 74. Still wearing my hoodie because it just feels good.
1:00PM Talking with Jane, and just waiting for AND tech to show up, and the Teminix inspector should be here sometime this afternoon.
5:00PM Watching The Five on FOX. Had a TV dinner, Korean beef BBQ with rice and veggies.

1:00AM Going to bed. Temperature is 65 degrees so doesn't look like the heat will come on tonight. May early in the morning. Checked my BP 137/69 pause 61x, my blood sugar 140. Going to bed.

Didn't take BP.
1:00PM Went to Walgreens and picked up 100 sugar test strips. Didn't charge me. Said that they would charge me when I pick up the other 100 strips. On my way back my low tire light came on. Reset when I got home, None of the tires look low. Will have to make an appointment at the garage for general check up and rotate tires and oil change.
4:00PM Went for bike ride. Got one piece of mail from Spectrum bill 268.37 and increase of 17 dollars.
4:30PM Les came home and brought me some potato soup from Chili's
8:00PM Kit didn't call so I called her and she had fallon alseep because she was very tired. Only talked about 5 minutes.

2:00PM Les came home early so he could watch the NASCAR Race. He ate and went to his room to watch the race. I am just sitting in living room also watching TV.
4:00PM Didn't go for a bike ride today. My leg is hurting and my right shoulder and arm is hurting. Have the heating pad on my shoulder. The pain has subsided but hasn't gone away.
6:00PM Want to watch local news but the gulf game is still on, Will check back and hope the golf game is over.

1:00PM Heard someone out front moving the garbage containers around. I didn't look to see who it was. I believe it was Steve. I believe he was upset that Les was parked so they couldn't put his garbage container in the normal spot. I was because someone had parked a white pick up truck so Les couldn't park further down the street. He had to park in front of my MH.
4:18PM Kit called and she told me she was on her way to the hospital with Walter in an ambulance. he had a doctors appointment for his pain and the doctor determined that he should go to the hospital.
4:30PM Les came home. The other vehicles were gone so he could park where he should.

12:00PM Les came home and said he didn't feel well. He had eaten at Subway and was a little sick at his stomach. He said he had a place to move to but it wouldn't be available until June 4th but he had to pay $200 to have the room held for him. He had to pay before 2pm so he left to go pay to hold the room, had to be there before 2pm. 3:00PM Les is back and he fixed him some chicken soup and said he felt better, so he went to his room to watch the races.
4:00PM Didn't go for a bike ride today, no mail so didn't ride to the PO boxes.

Was wondering when I had my heart attack and had a stent put in and found out it was July 28, 2019 and was out and back home on July 29, 2019. Just wondered when I was last in hospital.

2:30PM Order was delivered by two young men and of course one picked up the tip envelop and took it out and said "hello" and nothing else. They did place my order on the table as instructed but Bella was very disappointed, no friendly greeting like most of the shoppers. Made a report to Shipt although I figure it will fall on deaf ears. Shipt seems to be starting to be lacking in customer relations, The face of the deliver shoppers is changing. I get a new one almost every time I order, must be poor or low wages to shoppers plus Shipt using the bundling system.

11:20AM Got scam call from my daughter crying that she had been arrested and her Lawyer would call. Lawyer called and needed $9000 to get her out of jail. Of course I wired him the money. She called from WV and her Lawyer called from CA.

12:00PM Fixed something to eat. SOS on toast and a cup of coffee.
12:30PM Took Bella outside and came back in and checked my BP 138/53 p 58.
1:00PM Got the prescription taken care of at Walgreens.
3:50PM Received a FB message from Charles Stiles of Jamestown, ND. He is related to me 4th cousin through Levi C. Stiles.
5:20PM Finished talking to Charles because he had to go to work, He owns Popp Dawg House a truck kitchen in Jamestown, ND.
5:30PM Went on bike ride as Les was coming home, No mail.
8:00PM Kit called and we talked for 45 minutes. She and Walter are OK.

1:00PM Going to Plant City to pick up my test strips.
2:30PM Back from Plant City, got my test strips and picked up KFC for supper.
3:00PM Started trying to get my CPAP supplies first by phone and the at www.va.gov. Kept trying until 400 with no luck and the supply company I called on the phone had taken my number and called back so I ordered a new mask and filters and the lady said they should be here in 10 working days. I hope so.
5:00PM Ate my KFC for supper.,
6:00PM Les came home and we watched local news.
6:30PM Watched NBC nightly news.
8:00PM Kit called and she said the neurologist said that she was not getting blood to a nerve in the back of her head which was causing her double vision. He said she would slowing improve and her double vision should clear up. In my opinion I think she had a mini stroke. I first thought that Kit was having the same problems as Barb but this appears to me as being a small blood clot and the doctor is giving her a blood thinner which indicates he believes a clot.

3:15PM Shipt order delivered by Taylor C. one item missing, The orange juice was missing but I was not charged for it. Must have been a mix up when she tried to scan it and and when I told her to pick it up she didn't understand.
4:00PM Went for my bike ride, picked up the mail.
5:00PM Les just came home and brought me a bowl of Chili's potato soup.
6:00PM Put the groceries away and had a roast beef sandwich and baked a loaf of homemade bread.
8:15PM Called Kit and she did not answer.
8:30PM Kit called and said she had been asleep. I think she is having a lot tougher time than she lets on. Walter is not helping things. He wants to be taken care of and it is wearing Kit out. I hope she gets her eye sight back to normal soon.

Note:
It has been one year ago on this date (April 11, 2023) that my sister passed away as I held her hand. She peacefully passed at 9:40PM. She was taken away a few hours later and it was my responsibility to notify everyone in the family of her death. A few days later her daughter came and collected or disposed of all of her property and here it is one year later and I still grieve but have no contact with any of her children. Sadly, they have made this decision.

12:00PM Very tired, I didn't sleep very well last night and got up earlier than usual.
1:00PM Had a roast beef sandwich on homemade bread with a cup of coffee.

4:15PM Going on my bike ride. Blue Angels just went over in vertical formation going north to south.
4:45PM Back from my bike ride. No mail. Les just came home.
5:00PM Watching FOX and all they are talking about is Iran attaching Israel with drones. Just a big mess.

8:15PM Kit called and we talked for about an hour.
9:00PM Watching a movie called "Far Haven" a western.

2:00PM Put the remainder of the potting soil in the container. I did not plant Garden..any seeds, expect to plant them at dark tonight and water them so they won't have any hot sun until tomorrow around noon.
3:00PM Went for my bike ride. Some junk mail and one of my meds from Express Scripts. Put two chicken drum sticks with some Chicken broth for supper.
5:00PM Les home, turned on over to bake biscuits. Placed 4 cut biscuits in the chicken broth.
6:00PM Eating supper, Chicken dumplings. Les went his room to watch TV. Watching local news.
6:30PM Watching NBC nightly news.
8:00PM Kit called and we talked for an hour.
11:00PM Watched TV all evening, Gardeb,,I planted the tomato, pepper and cucumber seeds earlier and watered them when I took Bella out for the evening.

12:00PM Up and about. My right shoulder and upper arm ached all night. Didn't sleep very well, dreamed about ants all night. Finally went to sleep and when I got up I was faint and my eyes were effected, Everything seems dark. It is overcast and no sun end the temperature is 91 degrees. Checked Blood Sugar 69, Drank a glass of orange juice.
12:45PM Checked BP 115/52 p56.
1:30PM Took Bella outside, Garden,..cucumbers are just breaking ground. Individual sets them self on fire in front of court house where Trump is being charged. Glenda called and changed her cleaning date to May 20th. Having some crackers and cheese and a cup of coffee.
5:00PM Watching "The Five" on FOX. Temperature 95 degrees, to hot for bike ride, hope it cools a little before 7pm.
7:00PM Watching Laura Inghram and going on my bike ride. Temperature 81 degrees. Beautiful sunset.
8:00PM Kit called and we talked. She was very tired and in bed. Hope she gets her rest, She is having trouble with her eyes still.

3:40PM Groceries delivered, it was not Latasha, it was delivered by a tall black gentleman. Bella didn't even bark at him. Looks like I got everything I ordered.
8:00PM Kit called and we only talked a few minutes, She was going take a shower and go to bed early, lots of visitors today and she is just worn out.
9:45PM Ordered Eric a set of needles to refill his vape inhalers to his address and should be delivered on Monday.

10:00AM Up and about, did not take my blood Sugar, Eric fixed breakfast, beacon, toast, orange juice and black coffee.
11:00AM Checked my Blood Sugar after eating, 184 BP 128/61 p 57. Temperature 79 degrees. Eric giving Bella a bath.
11:30AM Eric removed a piece of trim above the front window. Put it on screened porch. Not needed, just trim to cover screws.
1:30PM I put the dishes away and Eric loaded the dishes in the dish washer.
2:00PM Eric left for home.
2:30PM Took Bella outside and while waiting I watered the seeds. The cucumbers are growing very well, only a couple of little shoots coming up on the tomato and peppers.
4:00PM Les came home and went to his room to watch the car races.
5:45PM Eric text that he is home. Don't know when he is coming down next.
6:00PM Having supper, steak and salad.
11:00PM Said good night to Jane. Going to watch a little TV before I go to bed. Took Bella outside and watered the plants.

12:00PM AND AC man came. Found problem with the AC, condenser was freezing up so he suggested a replacement, He turned the AC off and said he would not turn it back on because it would go out if I used it. He said the condenser had to be replaced.
2:00PM Talked to his suppervisor and the cost is $1500,00 to replace it. The part is under warranty but not the coolent and the labor.
3:00PM The AC man left and said that they would be back in the morning if they had the part. No AC the rest of the day and night until they are here to fix the AC.
8:00PM Kit called and I told her and we talked about an hour.
11:00PM Getting things ready for tomorrow, Took Bella outside and watered the plants.

April 23, 2024

1:00PM Received call from AND AC that they are sending out a technician around 3pm to recheck my AC and get it going temperately for me,
6:00PM Les is home and we are watching local news.
6:15PM Joseph from AND AC just arrived to check things out.
6:45PM Joseph came in and said that he believed that it was a bad air return and he checked my filter and said he believed that was the cause of no return air return. I ordered 6 from Amazon to be delivered tomorrow.
8:00PM Joseph from AND just left and he probably won't get home until 10pm because he has to go to Tampa and pick up his car and drive to Ruskin, FL. Joseph appears to be knowledgeable, more so than Devandra was yesterday. I sure hope that it was the filter. Ordered 6 from Amazon to be delivered tomorrow.
8:10PM Kit called while Joseph was still here so called her back and she was very tired because she had to go to her cardiologist today and he said she appears to be getting along OK. Talked shortly and she is going to bed for the night.

10:00PM Ate about a dozen grapes. shouldn't eat anything with sugar in it this late.

1:00AM Going to bed.
5:30AM Up and about. Could not sleep so had to get up and check with someone about the charge made on my debit card on Monday to AND Services. Talked to Wells Fargo and they told me to contact the company about refunding my money and if they do nothing then call them back and submit a complaint and Wells Fargo will investigate the charge for me.
6:00AM Les up and going to work so I went back to bed.
10:20AM Back up and checked to see if the AC comes on as it should. Turned thermostat down to 68 degrees and the AC came on and I let it run for a few minutes and then turned it off. Turned it back on and set the thermostat to 77, my normal setting. Temperature outside 79 degrees and inside temperature is 74 degrees, AC not needed at this time.
10:30AM Called AND Services and talked to Alex and he knew nothing about Edgar sending Joseph out yesterday and finding that it was an air flow quality and Joseph took care of it and the AC appears to be running fine again. I told Alex the results of yesterdays inspection and he said he would contact Edger and I should be getting a refund on my debit card in about 3 or 4 days, so I will call the bank and inform them and ask exactly what I should do.
10:45AM Calling Wells Fargo on line. ON HOLD
10:55AM Talked with an agent and was told that I should wait the 3 to 5 days for the refund to appear on my account and if it does not come back to call them and submit a complaint and Wells Fargo will look into the problem.

11:15AM USPS delivered my insulin pen needles.
12:30PM Man came to screen room door giving me a set of keys found on the ground in front of screened porch. Called Les and they are his keys.
1:05PM Amazon delivered my AC filters. Replaced the AC filter.

7:00PM Went on my bike ride and picked up the mail, Spectrum bill and paid it $269.37.
8;00PM Kit called and the leak they had in the guest bathroom finally got into closets and two bedrooms. Had to call in a company to clean up the water and dry things out. Kit says everything is in a mess.

6:00PM Tyler called and we talked about when he is coming down and we settled on June 15th. Les should be gone by then even if he drags his feet. We talked for 2 hours. I know it is going to be hard on him leaving everything behind I asked him to only bring what he needs.
8:00PM Kit called and we talked for about an hour. She is having a rough time because of the water leak. They have things dried out and the plumber should be there on Monday.
